Letting go
Geschrieben von: Morgenstern
As one leaf falls, another springs
Oh tale, as old as life, commence
As one heart cries, another sings
The spirit held in sweet suspense
As ashes crumble down and fall
We part from those, who got to go
Who heed the end’s forgiving call
And sorrow keeps our soul aglow
It’s hard now, seems too much to bear
Yet time will heal old wounds and new
There’s so much more we liked to share
And still we say goodbye to you
Adieu, my friend, thank you, adieu
As one leaf falls, another springs
From dust to you, from you to dust
Soar freely now, as all souls must
I’ll miss you, but accept these things
