First we ate some food;
Then there followed a beer
and another to reach the mood,
which was required here.

Two Vodkas soon had to follow;
Then we played a game
Of chess, yet my head felt hollow
and his drinking skills brought me shame.

We went to a buddy’s place,
Then I got completely drunk.
I felt the heavy disgrace
and decided to go home to my bunk.

On the way home I got lost
And almost died in the cold,
Yet the dice had in my favour been tossed,
And I will die when I’m old.
