He startled her, stepping slowly out of the shadows.
She backed up a step and he came forward, thrusting his spear into her.
Her pupils dilated, sweat glistened on her brow as she gasped.
He pushed it in a bit deeper as she started to convulse.
Then he pulled it out and sprayed them both in a gush of warm fluids.
She fell to the floor, closed her eyes and

the soldier went on in search for more.
You never know until the end, if it's love or war.
