Time.
Never has something so defined, subtle and systemized been so fickle, opaque and incomprehensible as in the moments we feel.
As we perceive it to shorten and lengthen , seemingly out of spite, only to derive us of pleasure or to prolong our torment.
But on rare occasions time favours us, drops a hand full of bread crumbs to us little pigeons while we are strutting around on the pavement of the world – seeming so solid, so unbreakable to us, yet crumbling to dust in time.
Time favours us – with a moment -
a moment of joy.
A moment that will last forever, every time we close our eyes.
A moment that is gone the second we open them again but lingers warm inside.
Only if we are really, really lucky, we are given these bread crumbs more than once.
