I am lost. All my options gone, the world dead to me. There was so much I could have done, so many single things to do and decide, even if they back then seemed delusional. They were real. Jobs, journeys, joy and decision after decision all ceased to exist in a single moment. One hammer and one bullet was all it took to kill uncountable options. But all this might be over one day and then, having learned to appreciate all these little things, even though they might bring me to the point of desperation once in a while, I will wake up and live my life to the fullest extent possible. This cannot be the end, what would be the purpose in ending my tale here and now? But as I think this doubt begins to grow in me, like a marshmallow in hot chocolate it grows and grows, until the cup, which is I, is filled only by it. There needn’t be a purpose in life, I don’t believe in god, fate or religion. Words fly through my mind, words without meaning, words of silence. But even though I feel as sorry for me as I can, it shan’t last forever, since now my older brother, who always claimed to have an answer or at least knew what I was talking about, enters my room.
