Always wondering
Geschrieben von: Morgenstern
I’m watching the sunlight
The sunrays are grey
They speak of the night
Because I want it that way
A paper shakes slightly
It twists on a string
Which a child held just then
Clinging on tightly
Like all life in the spring
The balloons- they took flight
I’m sitting here still
Wondering quietly
If they fly without light
If they fly through the night
And if my heart ever will
The children gone home
So has the day
A balloon in the tree
Which road leads to Rome?
Wondering always
What the note had to say
