“What do I do, what can I say to you,” he says, “I believe you chose the wrong path. And now you are going on a last journey. We talked too much and too less, but we will meet again one day my brother. They will let you go, you know.” I am empty, cannot think, cannot say goodbye. I don’t think we will meet again, even if the Bibel says true, I shall not enter heaven. He sits and prays. I give this a last cynical laugh, for the last time I shall feel the sadness of emptiness and irrelevance. He sits a long time beside me, a long time full of prayers and tears. “We all live, we all die, but the many small candles of joy and happiness in a world full of darkness are what makes life worth living.
